The world that you live in comes about in a certain way. Most people do not understand how it comes about, moment by moment, exactly. In fact, very, very few people understand how each moment is created. Understanding how your world comes into being, and your exact role in it, is what shall begin to get you out of the trap of suffering and shortage and into freedom and abundance.
You shall now see Nobel Prize winning scientific and spiritual evidence that shall convince you that you are at cause for everything in your world…and that you can change the effect any time.
Right now its time for some scientific evidence of this. Many Nobel Prize winning physicists have recently (starting in the 1920s) proven beyond doubt that the physical world is one large sea of energy that flashes into and out of being in a fraction of a second, over and over again. Nothing is solid. This is the world of Quantum Physics. They have proven that thoughts are what put together and hold together this ever-changing energy field into the “objects” that we see. So why do we see a person instead of a flashing cluster of energy?
Think of a movie reel. A movie is a collection of about 24 frames a second. Each frame is separated by a gap. However, because of the speed at which one frame replaces another, our eyes get cheated into thinking that we see a continuous and moving picture.
Think of television. A TV tube is simply a tube with heaps of electrons hitting the screen in a certain way, creating the illusion of form and motion. This is what all objects are anyway. You have 5 physical senses (sight, sound, touch, smell, taste). Each of those senses has a specific spectrum (for example, a dog hears a different range of sound than you do; a snake sees a different spectrum of light than you do; and so on). In other words, your set of senses perceives the sea of energy from a certain limited standpoint and makes up an image from that. It is not complete, nor is it accurate. It is just an interpretation.
Our thoughts are linked to this energy and they determine what the energy forms. This explains things such as positive thinking, prayer, faith, creativity, goal-setting, disease, and much more in a very scientific way. Your thoughts literally shift the universe on a particle-by-particle basis to create your physical life. Look around you. Everything you see started as an idea, an idea that grew as it was shared and expressed, until it grew enough into a physical object through any number of “manufacturing” or “growth” steps. You literally become what you think about most. Your life becomes what you have imagined and believed in most. The world is literally your mirror, enabling you to experience in the physical plane what you hold as your truth … until you change it. You know this to be true internally, and so do most people, and that is why people know instinctively that positive thinking works.
Quantum physics shows you that the world is not the hard and unchangeable thing it may appear to be. Instead, it is a very fluid place continuously built up using our individual and collective thoughts and states of being as a society, country, family, planet, solar system, or universe. We have begun to uncover the illusion.
What is your body made of? Tissues and organs. What are tissues and organs made of? Cells. What are cells made of? Molecules. What are molecules made of? Atoms. What are atoms made of? Sub- atomic particles. What are subatomic particles made of? Energy? No. They are not made of energy; they are energy. You are one big “chunk” of energy. And so is everything else.
Spirit and Mind puts together this energy into the physical shape you are used to seeing with your limited set of senses. If you go into a high-tech lab right now and ask them to let you see yourself under a powerful electron microscope and conduct other experiments on yourself, you will see that you are made up of a cluster of ever-changing energy in the form of electrons, neutrons, photons and so on. And so is your wallet, your spouse, your car, and everything else. Quantum physics tells us that it is the act of observing an object that causes it to be there where and how we observe it. An object does not exist independently of its observer!
Energy is the sub-atomic particles that come together to “make up” atoms, which come together to “make up” matter. Matter is energy. Matter is not converted energy, it is energy. Ever heard of Einstein”s equation, E=mc2? What it means is that any piece of matter of mass m is energy that can be calculated by multiplying that mass by the speed of light squared (what a large number!). You are literally made up of light, the same stuff light is made of (hence the Bible and many other spiritual texts tell us that light was the first thing to be created). Scientifically speaking, this energy exists as waves spread out over space and time. Only when you exercise observation do these waves become particles localized as a space-time event, a particle at a particular “time” and “space”. As soon as you withdraw observation, they become a wave again.
So, as you can see, your observation, your attention to something, and your intention, literally creates that thing as a space-time event. This is scientific. Even your relationships with other people are governed this way by unfailing laws of cause and effect. Your world is made of spirit, mind and body.
Each of those three, spirit, mind and body, has a function that is unique to it and not shared with the other. What you see with your eyes and experience with your body is the physical world, which we shall call Body. Body is an effect, created by a cause. This cause is Thought. Body cannot create. It can only experience and be experienced … that is its unique function.
Thought cannot experience … it can only make up, create and interpret. It needs a world of relativity (the physical world, Body) to experience itself. Spirit is All That Is, that which gives Life to Thought and Body. Body has no power to create, although it gives the illusion of power to do so. This illusion is the cause of much frustration, as you will soon see. So here are the functions and characteristics again:
• Spirit … Function: Life Force. Characteristics: Eternal, Infinite, All Knowing, All Powerful, One With All, Invulnerable, Unconditionally Loving, Fearless.
• Mind … Function: Create by extension of Thought, which, as you shall scientifically see, shifts the energy that comprises all things physical. Characteristics: “Split” between Higher Mind and Lower Mind. Higher mind has same characteristics as spirit while lower mind tends to identify with Body.
• Body … Function: To experience. Experiences are possible only in a world of relativity (mind and spirit exist in a realm of absolute, not relativity, where comparison is impossible). Body is purely an effect and has no power to cause or create. Characteristics: Takes on whatever characteristics the mind gives it.
This article is only a small portion of the tip of the iceberg. Success or lack of it is a direct consequence of how we feel and think, there are no other limitations that would make us more or less successful in life.
I am not saying this from the perspective of wishful thinking. There is a deeper understanding behind who and what we are. Now someone may say this is not what the quantum physics is about, and that is where they are completely wrong. Quantum physics as a discipline of study is a discipline devoted to breaking down the matter into the smallest particle or smaller of imaginable. There were may studies conducted since 1920 but the breakthrough has been made in the last ten to twenty years.
One of the rules that is established and confirmed and derives from quantum physics is that if the mind doesn’t penetrate the universe, there is no universe. No matter how difficult it may seem to understand at first, this is true. Theory of relativity is also something mostly not understood, yet accepted because you have been though to accept it.
The physicist of today are more proficient and are coming up with greater discoveries then those of the past but media and social conditioning have a large part in not treating the new discoveries properly. There is too much going on to understand it all at once. And that is the problem.
If I was to tell you that there is an actual laboratory that successfully experimented and recorded ONE particle being in two places at the same time, would you understand and believe it? Well it is true. Weather you do understand and believe it.
People are paradoxal in the way they think. They believe in ghosts and spells and magick and whatever else, yet when those phenomenon are broken down and presented to them and explained through a the language of science they reject it. Why? Because they can’t comprehend what is being talked about. For that reason, the scientific world is coming up with ways to simplify the language and explain it in ways easier to understand, and then the scientists hit the wall in front of all the conditioned, un-free minds. Because they Judge what is true and not based on what they are capable of understanding.
Great spiritual leaders have taken masses and turned them into believers on blind faith. And guess what, that faith is as real as life, yet you can’t see, touch, taste, smell ir hear it. You can only perceive it mentally and emotionally. And this is where it all breaks down.
You believe in afterlife, in ghosts in spirits even in GOD, and you fail to ask what God or whatever ‘higher’ you believe in actually is. Quantum physics explains God. After thousands of years of blind faith you have a system that explains that God is energy, everything is comprised of and is energy, and MIND is the most powerful form of energy in the universe that we can guide and direct ad therefore we create.
For a reason again dictated by media people seem to not understand that energy are not those blue thunder like strikes of light. Educate yourself, understand yourself, and you will begin to understand at the deeper level, what this is all bout.

Please, keep writing! This blog is so incredibly interesting, and you craft your words so well. It’s funny how I came across this thing, I read “The Rich Jerk” e-book, which linked to “The Warrior” forums, where I found a thread about “The Secret” in which (I think) you posted some interesting thoughts, enticing me to follow the link in your signature… And here I am, thanking you for sharing.

Thank you Matt, I am glad you like this blog.
I assure you I will not disappoint you.
The last several days I have been kept busy doing some other things, however I do have a few interesting articles ready for posting. I expect no later then tomorrow night I will post the second part about the way we hurt ourselves when we are speaking, and I have something about perception of time that I will be thrilled to share as well.

Hi,
I’m really getting interested in the Law of Attraction and your article is great, I’m recommending it at http://www.betterhumans.com (my nick is Cemiess)
However I am really trying to find some evidence of these claims. I am yet to have the law of attraction really work for me but I know deep down it will work. What I’d really like is some information to support the sentence “Quantum physics tells us that it is the act of observing an object that causes it to be there where and how we observe it. An object does not exist independently of its observer!” If this is the case then that is pretty good proof that we create our own reality.
What we need now is some good information on how to shape it!

Hi Stuart,
I have been a little bit idle in writing to this blog because I have been somewhat busy elsewhere, However, I am working on something that I cam across a little while ago and when we speak of evidence, I think it may be just the think you are looking for.
I will post several articles soon because I have to do them all at once in order to explain what I am trying to bring across. One article at the time doesn’t do it justice.
Thank you for reading the blog. I appreciate your attention.

Hi, everyone!
This is a fascinating topic and obviously many people are curious about it these days….
I have on various levels been using and/or observing this philosophy (now a theory) since I was a kid. I would notice in many situations I could seem to change or influence outcomes. I first noticed it when playing games with my older brothers who were generally more skilled at the games than me, but I somehow seemed to be “luckier” than them. It didn’t feel like luck since I felt confident it would win somehow. It was kind of uncanny – I’m talking about games where there is some luck involved with dice like Risk, Monopoly, a football game we had that had a spinner, etc….
Today I utilize this more as a faith. For example, I used to ‘worry” where the money would come from each month. I changed that thinking to “knowing the money will come” and it has always seemed to work. (I have been self-employed for about 14 years).
Also, when I was in high school I remember thinking one day that if I feel negative today and carry it through for a few days, about a month or so later more negativity seemed to enter my life. So, I set out to reframe a negative situation in the now to maintain a positive streak later on. It has seemed to work out although it is not intuitive.
And although I didn’t research what this was all about when I was a kid, now I have an interest in it partly because it does seem to be a popular topic these days. Now that I am more conscious of the possibility, I am taking an active interest to learn and ask questions about it.
I did watch “The Secret” a couple of days ago. I think overall it was pretty well done. I do have some questions/issues, though.
For example: If you accept the tennet that what the mind thinks is what is manifested regardless of qualifiers like “not”, “don’t”, etc…. then if someone says to themself, “I am NOT rich”, wouldn’t they become rich? Or, I’m not attractive…. or I just don’t feel comfortable with people…. etc?
I might be able to answer that myself… The answer is NO because the person has to truly believe it – and with passion… The thinking and feeling have to be congruent. If the person says “I am NOT rich”, the rich part is not congruent with their internal feeling/thinking.
Now if the person says, “I am poor” and they believe it truly, they will continue to manifest this. And actually, I suppose someone could truly beleve they are rich, yet say they are NOT rich and they would be rich…. what do you think?
Last thing:
This has to do with relationships. My sister is a very pretty girl, but never married. She has become very frustrated and generally says things like “There just aren’t any good men out there”, or “I guess I’m not cut out to be married”, etc… Is she creating this reallty?
She swears that she has had friends who said the very same things and some of them have said things like they don’t think they’ll marry or even that they don’t want to get married. Then, boom!, a year later they are married. (I have also experienced this with a few friends). So, she has it in her mind that perhaps the key to getting married is to act like you don’t want to be married! Any comments about this?
Also, what about sayings like: “it’ll happen when you least expect it” or “when you give up, you’ll meet someone”. Or, if you love someone, let them go”. Don’t some of these statements seem to contradict this quantum theory?

Paul,
You bring up some interesting points, and yes, there are valid Law of Attraction principles that successfully govern each of those situations, and it does boil down to Belief.
Belief is something that we feel, rather than something that we say. That is why even whenever someone says “I don’t want to get married”, but they end up getting married anyway, the truth has been maifested. They might have said they didn’t want to be married, and they might have even superficially believed it, but deep down inside – where the Universe is listening – there were other thoughts and desires.
I won’t get into a full-blown discussion of it here in a comment (thanks for the blog by the way, Kristina!), but you have given me one of several topics that I am going to discuss in more detail on my own blog, so please consider stopping by there to see what I’ve come up with in more detail.
Kristina, I submitted my email addy for updates, and I’ll look forward to hearing more from you!

Hi,
I would just like to know if what you are talking about (law of attraction) has anything to do with the “new thought” movement. Thanks!
By: afraz on September 30, 2006
at 5:26 pm
Nope,, it has nothing to do with the new though movement. Law of attraction is the oldest “faith” principle known to civilisation, religious evolution and generaly belief. The reason it sounds new to many people is the fact that modern science finaly started understanding the WHY and started actively searching for practical HOW TO. Law of attraction is a scientiffic fact, and how it occurs is what started many “new thought” currencies.
If you wish to learn more about ecolution of this law as the element of everyday life, I can point you in a slightly un othodox direction.
If you observe abstract and “alternative” religions, you will see that for example spells never failed to work in primitive communities. The reason for that has NOTHING to do with spell components. Candle light doesn’t have magickal powers. It is the factor of belief that made things happen for people. In other words, the faith in some event occuring caused the attraction to activate and aligned the attracted energy in such way that event actualy occured. Bet winds and frog feathers had nothing to do with that. The ceremonial part exists purely to support the faith better. It is a kind of an inductor.
One more example you can look up for more details of.
In the 1960’s in Australia, the government actualy had to proclaim an act that forbids the Aboriginal tribe members to perform the trial to death spell for tribal members that were accussed of adultery or whatever else.
The reason they did that simply was in the fact that tribal members who followed Aboriginal tradition to the tee, believed that a shaman can actualy curse them. The shaman would litteraly wave the stick in circle three times and they would tell the person in a progressively persvasive manner that in three days they will die.
Guess what! With no exception. The person would die. They would get feever by the end of the night, and withing three days they would die from unknown causes.
Try wave a stick and tell your neigbour they will die. What will happen is nothing. Why? Because neither you or your neigbour beleives that.
There is thousands of doccumented ‘phenomena’ of that, and as usual they get ignored due to lack of medicaly or scientificaly sane explanations, however, that doesn’t mean that they are not there, and more importantly, they fit the law of attraction perfectly.
Thank you for reading the blog

Before you continue “Blogging” your pseudo-scientific bull, you should learn to spell English properly. That goes as well for the individuals who post replies on this blog. That might be a good first step.

Mr. Berns, I must wonder what attracted you to this blog to begin with. Surely you are on a quest of self-discovery?
Thank you for providing an exemplary example of what the negative energy of judgement and contempt looks like. If you are focused on semantics and grammar, it is quite probable that you will be one of the last to receive the enlightenment that is required to truly experience the love and joy that is deep within you.

This is an amazing post. Thanks for pulling together this information. The Web has a lot of scientific proof of the law of attraction, but it’s spread around and tough to consolidate. Nice work.
For those of you interested in quotes about the law of attraction that show how it has been supported by some of the greatest minds of our culture take a look at my law of attraction guide.

Kristina,
Thanks for your insight. I’ve been studying the science of mind for about a year now through the non-profit organization “School of Metaphysics.” It has really changed my life…because my thinking has changed so much. One truth is; the power to control your mind is your own. The School of Metaphysics provides a structured environment by which you can learn that truth through a progressive curriculum. I certainly invite any of your bloggers to check out http://www.som.org for a list of school locations. I study in Cincinnati.
The school teaches the 12 Universal Laws, of which the Law of Attraction is just one. The other Universal Laws include; Prosperity, Abundance, Duality, Believing and Knowing, Relativity, Cause & Effect, Proper Perspective, Evolution, Divine Birthright, Self-Expression and Karma.
The movie “The Secret,” is a great motivator for changing thinking. It brings into view part of the complete picture of the power of the mind. If you are really, really interested in the science behind “The Secret” then definitely check to see if there is a School of Metaphysics near you. It will change your life!
Blessings on your journey to enlightenment!

I really truly believe and apply everything that this blog is discussing. It is really sad to see that some people are just executing the negative aspects of this attraction. It just seals their fate of never being what everyone should be: positively enlightened. I know that some day all of the people of the world will realize what is going on. I have never looked back ever since the thought of this “theory” hit my mind and it has made life a beautiful and stress free reward.

Wow, greta blog!!! Great information too!! It’s amazing that this stuff isn’t taught in our school systems. I have discovered many various sites on the web, alot of them good, but some are exceptional and put this stuff in really easy to understand language. For those of you who are intrigued by this type of information and would like to develop a deeper understanding I have come across a site that has proven to be VERY helpful to me. In fact it’s got me all excited about what we are capable of doing ourselves. It does discuss the law of attraction but it goes alot deeper too. If you want to check it out it’s………

To Mr. Berns…
Why the animosity? Have we done something to offend you by stating a personal belief system. The “pseudo science” approach as you define it here is a matter of my personal choice and belief. I am not bashing you for believing that you are a useless pointless, purposeless being in this universe.
The purpose of people such as yourself is to remind us that there is a need to know and understand that at the end of the day, when we are 96 years old, we can die knowing that we lived a life of joy, fun and freedom, or we can die bitter, empty, unhappy and with the memory of bashing everyone around us whom we had a hard time understanding for we were close minded.
A word of advice…
You should criticize people for spelling and language only when you can speak their language and spell their language with clarity that they have in using your language.
If you are resisting so strongly so that you must yell no and dustroy everything that is against your belief system, you may want to stop for a moment and ask yourself. Why am I needing to resist this? What is it that I am afraid of to the point where I have to be mean and hurtful? That is when the enlightenment begins…
Anyways,, Thank you for your comment. Hope to see you back to this blog that you would like to see non existent,, for the language of it is not suitable for your eyes..
